We have a brilliant opportunity with Historic Royal Palace to join as the Philanthropy Research Manager. The team here are experts in their field and some of the best fundraisers you will ever work with. You will report to the Head of Development Operations and Business Development. As part of this instrumental role, you will build a diverse pipeline of philanthropists, charitable trusts and companies interested in supporting the charity. You will be responsible for all aspects of the prospect research function, implementing the systems which enable fundraisers to secure high value donations.
This role gives you the exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal position, where you'll directly support fundraisers and play a key role in building dynamic, long-lasting relationships with a diverse and influential group of donors.
To be successful as the Philanthropy Research Manager, you will need:
- Proven experience in prospect research with the ability to identify high-value philanthropic prospects across a range of income streams
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of CRM systems, pipeline management processes, and data protection laws
- Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, able to work with fundraisers, senior stakeholders, and IT teams to support fundraising strategies
- Gravitas and the ability to work with senior stakeholders
