We are on the lookout for a talented Project & Systems Test Manager to join our team and become a driving force behind our Education & Training (E&T) Systems Team. Role Profile

The main purpose of the Project & Systems Test Manager will be to support the E&T Systems Team in delivering projects. The role holder will be expected to create strong relationships with an array of stakeholders across the business, be a clear communicator, develop, plan and execute test plans and strategy, support users by documenting changes and deliver training.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the System Project Team to ensure E&Ts requirements are fully considered and understood.
  • Work with the Project team & Business Stakeholders to identify timescales for UAT, create UAT test plans and the identification of resources to carry out the testing. Undertake the management &/or co-ordination of test phases as required.
  • Investigate issues found during testing, manage functional issues through to resolution. Work with the Systems Team to resolve any identified data issues that will affect testing &/or implementation.
  • Work with the Systems Team managers to ensure smooth implementation of changes. Provide training as necessary.
  • Assist with the production & maintenance of Business Process Maps & other documentation. Support the business with their production and maintenance of Process Guides.

Candidate Profile

Requirements include:

  • Experience of managing end to end User Acceptance Testing
  • Experience of working on systems based projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively across IT & business teams
  • Ability to communicate across the business & break down technical points into plain English
  • Ability to prioritise in a fast paced environment
