This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on *shaping the future of travel solutions and financial processes.*

The Project Manager is responsible for the governance and project management of initiatives within the Fintech Division. The Project Manager role will partner with the various teams across the partner experience division to support, and proactively work with them, to facilitate the work occurring between them and the business units and centralized functions. They will help the teams to scope and plan the projects by helping to document the project goal, KPIs, roadmap and main deliverables. The Project Manager will ensure that the projects of Fintech teams are managed in a consistent manner, whilst working with the business units & central functions to build engagement and where needed governance over decisions needed for work to be signed off. In some cases, the role requires dealing with external vendors and managing external stakeholders. The Project Manager will also help the different teams to mitigate the project risks and dependencies to make sure there is progress towards the project's milestones. The Project Manager will ensure the team's roadmaps/plans focus on agreed business priorities, dependencies and strategies designed based on data and business needs, and deliver against the shared objectives & goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Governance:

   • Develop and implement project governance frameworks ensuring regulatory compliance.
   • Monitor adherence to risk management practices.
   • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.

2. Project Management:

   • Plan, execute, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
   • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and milestones.
   • Manage cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.

3. Strategic Initiatives:

   • Lead innovative projects that align with organizational goals and industry trends.
   • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
   • Drive technology adoption and integration across business units.

4. Stakeholder Management:

   • Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and internal stakeholders.
   • Present project updates, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
   • Foster collaboration between technology teams and business units.

5. Risk and Compliance:

   • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
   • Ensure projects meet legal and compliance standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Core Skills:

   • Strong knowledge of FinTech trends and technologies.
   • Expertise in project management tools and methodologies (eg, Agile, Waterfall, Scrum).
   • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

2. Technical Expertise:

   • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial industry (eg, PSD2, GDPR, AML).
   • Knowledge of digital banking, blockchain, and AI applications in finance.

3. Certifications (Preferable):

   • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
   • Certifications in financial governance (eg, CGEIT, CRISC).
   • Lean Six Sigma for process improvement.

4. Experience:

   • Proven experience managing projects within the FinTech or financial services industry.
   • A track record of delivering governance or compliance-driven projects.
