Project Engineer - Laboratory Facility

Project Engineer with an engineering background required for a fantastic new capital laboratory project. We are seeking someone with strong experience managing capital projects from design through to completion, which should include the construction of at least one laboratory or clean room facility.

Due to the environment, we are looking for an experienced project manager who has come from an engineering background. This should be from either an electrical, mechanical or instrumentation engineering background and you must have delivered at least one new facility or a large upgrade to a smaller facility previously.

Project Engineer role requirements:

• Qualified engineer - either mechanical, electrical or instrumentation
• Have delivered at least one laboratory or clean room project from design, to construction, to completion and into operation
• Strong project management/project engineering experience, running capital projects
• Good knowledge of UK building regulations and standards, and technical drawings
• Budgetary experience and management of contractors

This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer to join a thriving organisation on a totally new greenfield laboratory facility build project. Kindly note that you will need to be based full time in Oxford for this position and may also have to be available for any emergencies etc at weekends. In return, they offer an excellent package which includes a salary up to £80k, a range of benefits, bonus scheme, and travel expenses. They will also consider a candidate who is looking to relocate from another part of the UK to Oxford.
