Programming & Partnerships Officer

Are you a creative and organised person who loves developing ideas and delivering engaging programming that can connect people and places? You'll play an important role in giving even more reasons to visit, making visitors feel welcome and making sure they get the most out of their day.
Charlecote is a busy property, and this role will suit someone who thrives in a changing and creative environment.
You'll be required to work weekends, bank holidays and the occasional evening.
You'll lead on developing and delivering an engaging year-round programme of events and activities which link activities to the place itself as well as organisational ambitions and objectives, to ensure relevance and appeal.
You'll be focused on key seasonal programming such as 'Easter Adventures', 'Summer of Play', and Christmas, building local partnerships that can together with our place provide an engaging, relevant and enriching offer for visitors.
As well as collaborating with other teams on property, you'll be working to build and maintain relationships with external partners to help us deliver a high-quality and consistent programme. This could include managing event partners, artists and external facilitators as required.
You'll be responsible for some budgets and will manage a team of volunteers.
You'll be part of the Duty Management Team and at times be operational. This includes being responsible for the smooth running of the property during opening hours, acting as the main contact point for staff, volunteers, and customers. You'll unlock/lock allocated areas of the property. More responsibilities can be discussed further at interview.
We'd love to hear from you if you're:
- experienced in running events and activities, and/or working with community partners
- strong organisational, IT and administrative skills e.g. meeting deadlines, working on multiple projects
- able to work independently as well as with a team, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and productive place for staff and volunteers
- able to measure and assess results, and show their impact
- someone who puts people first, is good at talking and listening to, and getting on with, all kinds of people and building relationships
- creative, ambitious and able to draw creative ideas from their team
