The Opportunity:
This role is responsible for reassessing the fair value offered by 9 products that have been withdrawn from sale by the organisation. Assessments are to be redone using our new fair value assessment framework to ascertain if our original decision can be substantiated and if not, decide if any redress is due to policyholders.

Working as part of the compliance team to support this specific initiative the role will include:

* Reviewing previous fair value assessments (up to 9 products)
* Updating each assessment using our current fair value assessment framework
* Preparing updates to stakeholders
* Liaison with Product Governance Team
* Presenting decisions to stakeholders including any recommendations on redress
* Ideally a product or compliance professional with general insurance experience
* Knowledge of PROD riles and guidance
* Management to tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting a review of up to 9 withdrawn products
* Maintaining a plan for reviews
* Presenting updates to steering committees and stakeholders
* Liaison across business units

Key Skills/experience:
* Knowledge of PROD riles and guidance
* Knowledge of Fair Value components
* Ability to manage a varied workload and competing priorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
* Experience of general insurance
* Experience of the insurance industry
* Understanding of the UK regulatory environment (specifically the FCA Sourcebook relating to insurance distribution)
