Your role as Procurement Strategy and Insights Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Strategy and Insights Manager to join the team and help drive impactful change. You will be pivotal in leading the creation and implementation of procurement strategies across the Po1 portfolio, working closely with various business groups, R&D, and procurement teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.

This role offers you the opportunity to leverage your market expertise, supplier insights, and data analytics skills to create value and shape Unilever's global procurement strategy. You'll lead insights creation, backward integration studies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive procurement excellence and improve operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation of procurement strategies for Po1 portfolios in collaboration with business groups and R&D teams.
• Conduct backward integration studies, develop capabilities, and implement new strategies with portfolio buyers.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives in Raw Materials by contributing to various projects.
• Use insights and data analytics to influence negotiations, develop cost models, and optimize procurement processes.
• Act as the product owner for various procurement initiatives and drive value creation by identifying opportunities and benchmarking.
• Utilize procurement market intelligence and external insights to guide decision-making and create strategies.
• Lead the procurement market intelligence strategy for Flavours and Fragrances, with a focus on external insights and competition benchmarking.

What We Are Looking For:

• Over 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably in FMCG or large, complex organizations.
• Strong business and commercial acumen, with experience in managing large-scale transformation programs.
• A solid understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, enabling iterative and incremental delivery.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead diverse teams across different geographies.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and peers, driving change in a matrix environment.
