6 Month Contract

Based in Guilford, Surrey - Onsite

Day rate up to £550 PD - Inside IR35, VIA Umbrella

Must have experience:

• Housing experience (either Local Government or Housing Authority)

• Must have knowledge of working in Housing (eg voids, maintenance, refurbishments, statutory compliance etc.

• There is an established pipeline of urgent tenders to run

• Completing waivers, framework direct awards and tenders

Experience required:

• PCR regs and PA2023 knowledge

• Ability to run tenders from start to finish engaging with relevant stakeholders

• Demonstrable track record of running multiple tenders at the same time

Framework manager

• We need a Procurement specialist who's role will be set up a number of frameworks across various categories including: Estates, Maintenance, Consultancy, Civils

• Knowledge of PA23 act is essential

• Must have PCR experience of setting up frameworks

• Good excel/analytical skills required

Must have:

• Experience of creating and setting up frameworks from start to finish, including call off processes (note this is not running a framework)

• Must be able to run a tender from start to finish

• Would be beneficial if they had strong Excel skills

Qualifications

• CIPS

Knowledge and experience

• Procurement legislation.

• Computer systems. Working with tendering and procurement software is desirable although it essential that the post-holder is proficient with software systems that require interrogation, manipulation and data analysis.

• Delivering procurement strategies and documentation. The post holder will produce written documents for the Corporate Procurement Board and other internal officer groups as required.

• Advisory and Networking. The post holder must be confident in providing advice to procuring officers and be capable of working across the county to develop external relationships on behalf of the Company.
