Process Excellence Manager (m/w/d) Global BRS Network

As a Process Excellence Manager (m/f/d) for our breeding stations, you'll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of process-related activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and sustainability across our organization.
This position is preferably to be filled in Einbeck / Berlin or within our global station network and the role is in full-time with a permanent contract.
Your Tasks:
- Lead and execute Lean Management and Six Sigma improvement projects and generate sustainable results that enhance organizational performance.
- Identify improvement opportunities across various internal customer groups and prioritize and derive optimization measures using state-of-the-art process improvement approaches.
- Ensure alignment with the overall R&D process landscape.
- Support the function to adapt the active usage of process life-cycle management from discovery, mapping, performance management and operations, standardization, improvement, automation, and digitalization.
- Develop compelling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for global administrative functions. Ensure effective process management through data-driven metrics.
- Implement internal controls to manage risks and safeguard global business continuity within the organization.
Your profile:
- Successful completion of a master's degree in engineering, economics, or related fields
- Several years of relevant professional experience in an Operational or Transactional function
- Applied expertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
- Proficiency in dealing with difficult situations (demonstrated change and conflict management skills).
- Capability to lead improvement projects and support Lean Management/Six Sigma initiatives.
- LEAN SIX SIGMA certification (green belt or higher).
- Proven experience with Value Stream Mapping and other Lean Management/Continuous Improvement tools.
- Execution of Kaizen workshops/events.
- Familiarity with Business Process Management and Continuous Improvement using common methods.
- Professional experience with discovering, modeling, and implementing Business Process Management (BPM) and Workflow Management systems (BPMN 2.0, Signavio).
- Fluent in English and one other language (German is advantageous).
- Hands-on and detail-oriented mentality combined with the ability to see the big picture.
- Strategic thinking and a general management standpoint.
- Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
