Job Description
The Trustees at Ambition Community Trust are seeking to appoint a Principal Educational Psychologist to establish and lead our Therapeutic Team. This team will consist of educational psychologists, school counsellors, and therapists, working collaboratively to provide holistic support for our pupils. The team's primary focus will be to foster the mental, emotional, and social well-being of our students, enabling them to reach their full academic and personal potential. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment that meets the diverse needs of all pupils, particularly those who are vulnerable or have special educational needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Applicants must be professionally qualified and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

The role will involve close collaboration with Victorious Academies Trust to attract and recruit highly qualified candidates for our Educational Psychologist team. By joining forces in recruitment, both Trusts will ensure that our psychologists are not working in isolation and have access to a diverse and stimulating workload.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Hours: Full-time, permanent (36 hours per week, year-round)

Salary: Soulbury B Point 6 (£61,848) to Point 8 (£63,836) + up to 3 SPA points

Reports to: Director of Relational Inclusion, Ambition Community Trust

Location: The role will be based at White Bridge College, Globe Lane, Dukinfield, SK16 4UJ
