Part-time Teaching job in Clifton. Starting in Term 4.

Your new company
Hays Education are currently recruiting for reliable and adaptable primary teachers to work at a Primary School in Bristol. This role is based in Year 1 and will be suited to those with experience in Key Stage 1 teaching. The school is a popular Primary School in the Central Bristol area boasting great space across it's site where you would be working. The school will be looking for somebody who interventions experience who can deliver this confidently to the class. This role would involve basic classroom responsibilities and delivering planned lessons whilst building a relationship with the children and their parents/guardians.
Your new role
This role is on a part time basis on a Tuesday and Wednesday and will be suited to those who have a passion for Key Stage 1 teaching. The successful candidate will have routine day to day classroom responsibilities along with working with other teachers in the year to form a collaborative team. To be successful in this role, you should have a flair for creative teaching and experience with phonics and Key Stage 1 maths teaching. The school believes that these early years of primary school teaching are some of the most integral parts of a child's learning and will want a teacher with strong behaviour management skills as the class will have a mixture of varying abilities; the role is open to strong ECT's. What you'll need to succeed

  • You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.
  • Experience in teaching key stage 1 is preferred.
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
