Job Description

Location: Brighton MET College Sites

Premises Officer Ref: BRTN3636

Salary: £23,151 per annum

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The Estates Department is currently looking for a Premises Officer who, under direct supervision of the Buildings and Facilities Manager and in collaboration with other Estates Team members, will be responsible for providing a customer-friendly and efficient service throughout the day in order to meet the operational needs of the campus. The Premises team works on a split-shift basis during the week to cover all hours of college business. The shifts are worked on alternative weeks am/pm:

• 6:00-14:00/13:30-21:30 (Monday to Thursday)• 6:00-13:30/11:00-18:30 (Friday)

Our Premises Officer will have relevant experience of working within maintenance or a building services environment and be able to work cooperatively as part of a team and using own initiative.

This role will involve working across both of our Brighton MET sites. Our Central Campus us based in central Brighton, a few minutes' walk from the train station and the fantastic range of shops Brighton has to offer. Our East Campus is set at the edge of the Brighton countryside, minutes away from Brighton Marina.
