- They should have the following skills and experience:

- Resource allocation: They should be able to optimize resource allocation across projects.
- Communication: They should have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical skills: They should have analytical skills to make informed decisions.
- Portfolio management is different from project management:
- Focus Projects focus on short-term goals, while portfolios focus on long-term goals.
Objectives Projects are temporary, while portfolios involve strategic, cohesive objectives
