Job Description

Policy Intern
London with hybrid working

About the Organisation

Our client believes there is a need to put more power, resources, and decision making into the hands of communities. They do this by trusting people.

Their programme demonstrates the value of long-term, unconditional, resident-led funding through supporting communities to make their areas better places to live. They commit funds at the outset, and then support residents to develop their own plans to spend the funding in ways that they collectively agree will improve their area and the lives of those living there. They draw on the learning from their work to promote a wider transformation in the way policy-makers, funders and others engage with communities and places.

Their new initiative is aimed at exploring the future of policy related to neighbourhoods, particularly those facing multiple levels of disadvantage. The project will gather evidence, engage stakeholders, and provide policy recommendations to promote community-led change.

They are now looking for a Policy Intern to join them on a 6 to 12 month contract, working 36 hours per week.

The Benefits

- Salary of £24,684 per annum
- Pension scheme with an employer contribution of 10%
