Platform Engineer

ThePlatform Engineering team manages the platform layer in our globalcloud environments that serve data and analytics use cases andapplication development across Mars. The Platform Engineer rolewill be responsible for the delivery of new technologies andautomation of services. They will play a crucial role in theresearch and roll out of new solutions to meet themulti-dimensional needs of our customers, enabling our businessesto pursue aggressive digitalstrategies.

• Universitydegree in the field of Information Systems, Computer Science,Engineering, or equivalent workexperience

• 1+ years ofexperience with cloud engineering and/or softwaredevelopment

• Understanding ofbuilding and deploying services in the cloud, Azure, AWS,GCP

• Proficiency in at leastone scripting language, PowerShell, Ansible, Puppet,etc.

• Advantage ifexperienced with Terraform, GitHub, Azure DevOps,Kubernetes

• Exposure inworking in a collaborative teamenvironment

• Solid writtenand verbal communication skills inEnglish

• Design,implement & support platform capabilities using Azure, AWS& GCP

• Working withtechnical development team on scope and delivery of self-serviceplatform templates

• Become asubject matter expert in new technologies introduced to theplatform

• Leverage productmanagement/agile frameworks to flesh out businessrequirements

• Enhance CI/CDpipelines & automate infrastructuredeployment

• Implementmonitoring, alerting & observabilitysolutions

• Maintain technicaldocumentation &runbooks
