Bench IT require an experienced PKI Engineer to join a large organisation starting ASAP working remotely. The PKI Engineer will be responsible for leading the migration of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions. This role involves overseeing the planning and implementation of PKI migration projects, ensuring that all security and compliance requirements are met. The Engineer will work closely with various stakeholders, including IAM, security, and business teams, to ensure a smooth and secure migration process.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of DigiCert PKI migration project
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
• Collaborate with IAM, security, and business teams to gather requirements and develop migration strategies
• Oversee the configuration and deployment of PKI components
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PKI migration
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Develop and maintain documentation related to PKI migration processes and procedures.
• Experience with cloud-based PKI solutions (ideally DigiCert One)
• Knowledge of Scripting languages (eg, PowerShell, Python)
• 5+ years of experience in PKI management and migration
• Strong understanding of PKI concepts, digital certificates, encryption algorithms, and key management practices
• Knowledge of security protocols and standards (eg, SSL, TLS, S/MIME)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
