This is the opportunity to join a specialised tax accountancy firm based in Glasgow. The firm are located on the outskirts of Glasgow City centre, being a short walk from both train and bus stations. The firm offers expertise in both Personal / Private Client and Corporate Tax and boasts an interesting and varied client base, having been in business for over 30 years. The firm are eager to recruit an experienced tax professional to join their personal tax team ahead of the winter tax season on a temporary basis.

Your new role
The key duties of your new role will include:

• Responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients including high net worth, self-employed and owner-managed businesses
• Supervision of work performed by tax assistants
• Conduct client meetings to discuss individual tax affairs and provide advice where necessary
• Ad hoc technical "one off" assignments

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be an experienced tax professional who is comfortable overseeing their own portfolio of clients. You will have previous experience working in a similar role within a practice accountancy firm and be able to work autonomously to meet client needs to a high standard. You will be comfortable in a client-facing role and boast strong written and verbal communication skills.
