Job Description
Our IKEA Austria South team is responsible for all existing and future customer touchpoints within the market including the two stores in Graz and Klagenfurt and the Plan & Order Point XS in Villach.
Due to our ways of working you will split your time working in IKEA Graz and IKEA Klagenfurt equally. This unique setup requires some specific strengths: • Remote Leadership: Lead by example and based on our IKEA values, build trust, and motivate team members regardless of their physical location. • Communication: Facilitate open and transparent communication channels, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned. • Clarity: Provide clear direction, define goals, and eliminate ambiguity to generate growth and long-term profitability • Prioritization: Strategically allocate resources, manage deadlines, and guide the team towards achieving key objectives. • Inspiration: Inspire creativity, innovation, and a positive work culture within the team.
Aufgaben
  • coach and advise leaders so that they are confident & competent in managing their day to day people processes in line with the labor relations principles, local policies, procedures and laws and to uphold IKEA employment standards.
  • responsible for ensuring that the talent and succession goals for the assigned business areas are being consciously achieved, providing advice and expertise to line managers to secure a quality and timely process.
  • ensure that line managers develop business competence & leadership competence for today & tomorrow by using the relevant competence building tools and methods to secure the wonderful customer experience in a multi-channel environment.

Profil
  • You are passionate about people and their development and about facilitating a working environment where the IKEA values and culture are a living reality.
  • You are seen by co-workers in all functions as an approachable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable speaking partner who leads by example and takes a multidimensional approach on steering the business through people.Your knowledge, skills, and experience include:
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in People & Culture, ideally in a generalist role.
  • proven expertise in facilitating organizational transformation processes.
  • in-depth knowledge of Austrian labor law, with the capability to build and maintain trustful relationships with social partners.
  • fluency in both German and English, both written and verbal.
