Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated P. E Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physical education lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and motivate students to develop their physical abilities, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for health and fitness.
What We Are Looking For:We are looking for a P. E teacher who is not only knowledgeable and skilled in physical education but also passionate about making a difference in students' lives. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. They should be able to engage students of all abilities, fostering a love for physical activity and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging P. E lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular sports activities and events.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for physical education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
