Your new roleAs a PE Teacher / Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons and providing cover for absent teachers across various subjects. Your main duties will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Supervising and managing classes during teacher absences.
• Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supporting students' physical and emotional well-being.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the school day.

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects when needed.
• A DBS on the update service or willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS.
