Payroll Administrator

6 months initial contract with potential to extend

Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week in Warwick)

Salary Circa £30,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and providing excellent support to employees regarding payroll matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage statutory payroll compliance, including calculating and processing statutory payments and deductions.
  • Prepare and maintain schedules for maternity and other statutory payments.
  • Process documentation for starters, leavers, overtime, court orders, and other deductions, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Advisor to address inconsistencies or errors.
  • Review and manage sickness and holiday reports for submission to the payroll provider.
  • Ensure strong control frameworks are adhered to and all amendments are submitted on time.
  • Provide responsive, confidential support to employees regarding payroll inquiries.
  • Administer and reconcile monthly pensions and manage tax year-end processes, including P60 and P11D documentation.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects to support the People Services function.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a payroll department.
  • Proficiency with ADP GlobalView is essential.
  • Strong understanding of HMRC requirements, including RTI, FPS, EPS, Tax, and NI.
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • BTEC or recognized qualification in Payroll Administration.
