• Full-time term time only Pastoral Support Assistant role Long term contract until July 2025
• Role Paying £400-£500 per week Paid weekly on PAYE basis
• First-Class or 2:1 degree from a top 20 UK university
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND is essential

Pastoral Support Assistant Job Role

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to children for students with varied SEN
• Assist with personal care tasks i.e. Toileting, ensuring dignity and comfort for all students
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students, guaranteeing a safe environment for all children
• Help develop students social, emotional, and communication skills, building their confidence and independence.
• Collaborate with experienced SEND professionals, specialist teachers, and educational psychologists, gaining invaluable firsthand experience
