A well known organisation in Bath are seeking a Part Time Finance Assistant (22 hours per week) to join their growing finance team.
Your new role
Duties will include:
Raising sales invoices, as directed by the Commercial Manager
Ensuring sales invoices are paid in a timely manner
Reconciliation of monthly bank statements
Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts
Posting journal entries/ recharges
Allocating credit card purchases
Allocating payments received
Raising ad hoc bank payments
Producing quarterly rent invoices
Process purchase invoices - matching to purchase orders and attaching correct documentation
Produce monthly budget reports
Administer fortnightly payment runs
Process staff expense claims, ensuring these have the correct sign off
Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with suppliers
Investigate purchase ledger queries
Setting up new suppliers, including checks
Assisting the Commercial Manager with any financial queries
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in a similar role
AAT qualification - desirable
Excellent attention to detail
Able to prioritise workload
