Part Time Accounts Assistant

Robert Half are pleased to be working with a family run manufacturing business to recruit for a 12 month maternity cover role as a Part Time Accounts Assistant. This role would be suitable for someone wanting to do short hours on a day to day basis or three full days.

Main requirements

Support to the Finance Director and finance team in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and the annual statutory accounts.

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations - especially in respect of Work in Progress and Stock.

Assist in the raising of sales invoices.

Analysis of sales & customer rebates.

Analysis of key items of manufacturing & distribution expenditure v budget and prior periods.

Ensure the operational teams understand this and can identify potential savings.

Holiday cover for the Credit control.

You will be an experienced Assistant Accountant with strong system skills.

This role is fully office based so you will need to be able to commute to a area outside of the centre of Leeds.
