Job Advert: Maintenance Painter (Permanent Position)
Location: YorkshireSalary: £34,000 per annum
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to FridayVan provided for commuting
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Painter to join a dynamic team based in Yorkshire. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £34,000 per year, with the added benefit of a van provided for commuting. While no overtime is available, this role offers a consistent 40-hour work week with a focus on high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out painting and decorating tasks on residential and commercial properties.
- Prepare surfaces, apply paint, and finish work to a high standard.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Manage a variety of maintenance projects including internal and external work.
- Work effectively with the maintenance team to ensure deadlines and service standards are met.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- Maintain clear communication with management and clients, providing updates on project progress.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability practices when disposing of materials.
- Proven experience in painting and decorating within a maintenance or facilities management role.
- A professional qualification in Painting and Decorating (e.g., City & Guilds or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
- A valid driving licence (for the use of company van) and a good driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the housing or property sector is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with colleagues and clients.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace.
- A company van provided for commuting (personal use may be subject to agreement).
