A very exciting opportunity has become available for an Optometrist on a full-time or part time basis with a well-established, family-run independent group of opticians, with a great reputation for quality service.

This vacancy would be for an experienced Optometrist to be mobile covering 2 practices between the Yate and Dursley practices.
They are a large group of Opticians with over 20 practices in their portfolio. In each practice you will be joining a small team and be the sole Optometrist, this Optician are patient led and aim to offer the best customer service possible.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Optometrist. What's important, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients as pride themselves on excellent customer care.
Looking to do (on average) 14/15 tests per day with 30 minute testing slots (including your own pre-screening) to provide excellent service to your patients, you will be working with all the latest equipment as previously mentioned in a relaxed calm environment surrounded by a close knit friendly team.

Requirements of the Optometrist

" Must be GOC registered
" Open to newly qualified or experienced
" You will be a team player - happy to come out of the test room when needed to dispense and offer advice to patients
" Must be able to drive as this is a mobile role between two different practices
" A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
" A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optometrist

" Up to £65,000 basic
" 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays
" Sociable hours with alternate Sundays

Working 9:00-5:00 Monday to Saturday - 37.5 hours to include alternate
