Operations Manager (Maintenance)

An FM provider are hiring an Operations Manager to oversee maintenance of a commercial site in SW London.

Your new company
Our client are a global FM provider with a large volume of contracts across London and the UK. Their client are a public sector organisation with a large commercial site in SW London. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8-5.
Your new role
As Operations Manager you will be responsible for maintenance and repair works across a commercial site in SW London. Key duties will include:

• Managing a team of 10-12 engineers with 3 direct reports (lead/supervisors)
• Focus on reactive maintenance and extra works (projects etc.)
• Working closely with the compliance manager regarding PPMs, H&S and compliance
• Line management responsibilities (annual leave, sickness, performance review etc.)
• Providing technical support across MEP services within a commercial setting

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require relevant experience in a leadership role within hard services maintenance. You will also require:

• Technical knowledge and background (ideally on-tools experience)
• Line management experience
• Knowledge across mechanical and electrical systems
• Steam equipment knowledge is desirable
• Technical qualifications are desirable
