Job Description
Arthur is working with a Lloyd's Syndicate seeking to hire an Operations Assistant to join their team.This role will play a key part in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations across the business where you will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency by providing comprehensive administrative support to Underwriting Teams and various other departments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all day-to-day functions of the Operations Assistant team.
  • Deliver efficient administrative services to Underwriting Teams and multiple departments.
  • Support operational workflows to enhance overall business efficiency.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Operations Assistant processes, covering both underwriting and operational activities such as risk entry, credit control, claims, and outwards reinsurance.
  • Carry out day-to-day underwriting and operational support tasks, including timely and accurate data entry (risk and aggregate) and the allocation of premium and claims messages.
  • Assist the Operations Assistant Manager in monitoring outstanding workloads and prioritizing tasks, particularly during busy or high-volume periods, to ensure SLAs (service level agreements) are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure all team process documentation is kept accurate and regularly updated.
