Job Description

As North Paddington Programme Director, you can make your own powerful contribution to community-focused regeneration. Taking the lead on one of our highest priority and truly cross-cutting programmes, you'll deliver sustainable change for one of the most deprived areas of Westminster. This is a unique opportunity to bring about real change that can improve quality of life, health and wellbeing, and life expectancy for our residents.

Working collaboratively with a wide range of community and delivery partners, together you will deliver improved outcomes across health, education, economy, employment, crime, safety, climate, community and housing. We will look to you to lead a multi-disciplinary team that brings together Communities and Corporate Programme Management leads with colleagues from across the Council. Forging great relationships, you will take an outcomes-based, data and evidence led approach to leadership of this ambitious programme to make lasting change happen. Your remit will span the monitoring and management of programme delivery plans, finance and resource planning, risk and issue reporting, change management, performance management, benefits identification and realisation plans.

We're looking for an inspirational leader with experience of delivering multifaceted place-based change programmes from inception to completion. We'll expect you to bring exceptional people skills, with a flair for rapidly building excellent relationships with delivery and community partners. From the way you manage resources and budgets, to the skill with which you develop strategic plans, and your inspirational approach to shaping and empowering working culture with equality at its heart, the tools and tenacity it takes to ensure we deliver tangible benefits and achieve ambitious outcomes for residents.
