Finitas are working with an MGA who focuses on commercial underwriting. They are on the search for a Underwriter to join them on a permanent basis.

The role involves underwriting new business quotes across all products within established guidelines, addressing queries within SLAs, and maintaining strong broker relationships through regular communication with Business Development Managers.

You will also provide support as a referral point for lower-level license holders, collaborate with the team to meet SLAs and deliver high-quality customer service, and handle broker calls professionally. Adherence to underwriting guidelines is essential, with a focus on continuous process improvement and alignment with corporate goals.

Key requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years Underwriting experience (commercial insurance, property/casualty)
• Excellent phone manner
• Right to work in the UK
