Network Engineer
Location: Inverness + 1-day remote working + Some travel (pool vehicle)
Salary: £35,000/£46,000 DOE + Benefits

Duties and responsibilities
. Install, configure, and troubleshoot various network architectures.
. Maintain and ensure high levels of network availability and resilience.
. Lead continued improvement activities.
. Provide support to all clients.
. Produce design documentation.
. Collaborate with relevant teams across all functions and participate in troubleshooting efforts between departments and vendors, to co-ordinate and implement effective service restoration and maximise service availability.
. Travel will be required for this role.

Key Skills and Experience
. Experience in network security, VLAN and routing.
. Project management experience would be highly sought after.
. Experience using network management platforms including Aruba, Cisco, Juniper.
. Experience with network security appliances - Fortinet, Aruba Gateways, Cisco, Sonicwall.
. CCNA or CCNP desirable but not essential.
. Demonstrable experience of producing and implementing infrastructure solutions.
. Competent in deploying and supporting enterprise LAN/WLAN infrastructure.
. Experience of design, configuration and troubleshooting wired and wireless networks, security devices.
. Comfortable with copper and fibre cabling and the related troubleshooting areas.
. Will ideally possess a clean full UK driving license.
