Network Engineer - AWS

Role Overview:
As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Edge and Core Network team responsible for our private and public cloud network infrastructure. This includes planning, securing, managing capacity and performance, and ensuring the operational health of our data center InterconnecT (DCI), WAN, and Internet edge network. You will work closely with telecom providers and ISPs to maintain reliable Internet connectivity for our customers and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations including troubleshooting network connectivity issues.

• Deliver network-related projects such as vendor migrations, device upgrades, data center transitions, and network redesigns.

• Collaborate with carriers on circuit upgrades and incident resolution.

• Deploy and support network infrastructure and customer operational requests.

Must-Have Skills:

• Deep hands-on experience with routing & switching, TCP/IP stack.

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with BGP, ISIS, MPLS, IPv6, EVPN.

• At least 3 years of experience in network automation using Python and Terraform.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with AWS networking (eg, TGWs, VPCs, NATs, VPNs, Direct Connect).

• Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform, Ansible.

• Understanding of global Internet architecture, peering, and RPKI.

• Experience designing and automating large data center networks.

• Familiarity with network security (Firewalling, DDoS mitigation).

• Proficiency in monitoring tools and network performance analysis.

• Configuration experience with Juniper, Cisco, or Arista devices.

• Experience with MPLS networks and DWDM technologies is a plus.
