Network and Security Cloud Architect - UK, Hybrid, Remote

Looking for a Network and Security Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage their AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure it meets the very highest standards. This is a Hybrid role paying £120,000 to £150,000 with an excellent Bonus structure and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and evolution of my clients cloud network architecture, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
• Developing and maintaining detailed network documentation, diagrams, and standards to ensure consistency and maintainability.
• Optimizing network performance, scalability, and resilience to meet the demands of a growing and complex cloud environment.
• Designing and implementing comprehensive security architectures and controls for our cloud infrastructure complex Gitops processes.
• Designing and implementing secure network connectivity between cloud environments, on-premises data centres, and remote offices.
• Leveraging cloud-native networking services (eg VPCs, Firewalls, load balancers, VPNs) to optimise performance, scalability, and security.

Candidate Experience

• Network and security architecture, with a focus on AWS cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS networking and security services, including AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, AWS Control Tower, AWS Cloud WAN, AWS WAF, AWS Firewall Manager, AWS Route 53, AWS GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, and AWS Inspector.
• Terraform for managing and provisioning infrastructure, with a strong focus on integrating infrastructure management and change through DevOps processes to enhance automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Current certifications needed:- CISSP, CCNP (Security) AWS Security or other equivalent certifications.
