We are looking for a .NET Developer with strong hands-on development experience and a solid understanding of migrating Legacy applications to modern .NET frameworks. The ideal consultant will have a proven track record of developing and enhancing applications using .NET Core and Angular.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, clean, and efficient .NET Core and .NET 6/7 code for new features and enhancements on the platform.

• Work with technologies such as MS Access, VBA, and SQL Server to migrate existing applications to modern .NET frameworks.

• Support migration projects involving EUC applications and spreadsheet macros from VBA to .NET.

• Contribute to the entire software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts and product managers, to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.

• Analyse and resolve performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of applications.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to sprint goals, and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in .NET Core and .NET 6/7, with hands-on experience in building scalable applications.

• Strong understanding of MVC, Angular, and Front End technologies.

• Experience working with MS Access, VBA, and SQL Server.

• Familiarity with migrating Legacy applications from MS Access and VBA to .NET.

• Experience working in Agile environments with a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (eg, Git).

• Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a proactive approach to solving technical challenges.

• Previous experience working with Legacy applications (Framework 4.5 and 4.7) and resolving issues.

• Knowledge of Front End frameworks, with Angular as a primary focus (React experience is a plus).
