MySQL/MariaDB Administrator

My client are looking for a MySQL/MariaDB Administrator to join a top tier consultancy to provide first class database administration services.

The ideal candidate will have:-

• Strong understanding of MySQL/MariaDB database architecture, including storage engines, replication, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with MariaDB administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of master-slave replication concepts and best practices.
• Experience with MaxScale or similar database load balancing and Proxy solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong Scripting skills (eg, Bash, Python) for automation and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience with Linux systems administration, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or CentOS.
