Are you a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher looking for an exciting new permanent position in Redbridge?
Do you have a PGCE in Secondary Music from a brilliant university?
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join this vibrant school community in Redbridge.
Position: Music Teacher
Salary: £36,413 to £60,092
Location: Redbridge, London
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status required
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging music lessons to students of varying ages and abilities
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and creativity
Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
Plan and teach well-structured lessons
Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
Promote good progress and outcomes by pupils
A teacher must set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
Plan, prepare, and implement a balanced and diverse music curriculum
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
Organise and direct school concerts, performances, and music-related events
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music education into cross-curricular activities
Maintain classroom instruments and resources, ensuring they are used effectively and safely
Encourage students' personal growth through individual and group music projects
