A leading manufacturing company within the defence sector is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Your new role
Support the manufacturing asset and equipment schedule to ensure optimal performance through quality maintenance activities.

• Transition from reactive to planned preventative maintenance.
• Maintain and repair CNC equipment and tooling.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs, Inverters, and Drives.
• Adhere to Agility Maintenance plans.
• Analyse failures to create preventative maintenance regimes.
• Record accurate feedback on tasks and safety concerns.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance during breakdowns.
• Support maintenance strategy development and report defects.

What you'll need to succeed

18th edition wiring qualification (HNC) or equivalent, preferably electrical bias.

Experience in a modern lean manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of PLCs, Inverters, and Drives.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
