Monitoring Expert (m/f/d)- External Workforce

• Configure and maintain the A1Digital Monitoring Solution based on Icinga2, Grafana and Prometheus, etc.
• Develop, optimize and extend monitoring sensors, dashboards and alerts to provide real-time insights into system performance and health.
• Analyze monitoring data to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with customers and external partners to ensure proper instrumentation and monitoring of applications and services.
• Respond to alerts and incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Document monitoring configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on monitoring tools and processes.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 monitoring coverage.

Our requirements:

• Extensive experience with monitoring tools such as Icinga2, Grafana, Nagios, Prometheus, etc.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and integration with monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets to identify issues and trends.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with configuration management and deployment tools (e.g., Ansible) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.

Our performance-based-salary models reward extraordinary commitment and success. The minimum annual gross salary according to the collective agreement of Telekom Austria AG is EUR 49.502,74 The actual annual salary depends on your skills and experience.
