WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

• Analyze and validate financial models used for transaction modelling, pricing, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate closely with various teams to ensure accurate risk modelling and financial analysis.
• Develop and enhance risk assessment frameworks to support capital adequacy and regulatory compliance.
• Work with statistical models and quantitative techniques to assess capital requirements.
• Provide expert recommendations to model owners and stakeholders, ensuring best practices in risk management.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and standards related to model risk.
• Have direct exposure to senior management and play a key role in shaping risk strategies.

AN IDEAL PROFILE WOULD BE

• A completed university degree in econometrics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in model validation or financial model development.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (BIS, EBA, CRD, IFRS).
• Proficiency in data modelling software such as Excel, VBA, Python, or Matlab.
• A detail-oriented and critical approach to evaluating models and risk frameworks.
• Confidence in engaging with internal and external stakeholders to share insights and recommendations.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of teamwork and creativity.
