MI Manager, Insurance

London/Hybrid

MI Manager is required by thriving insurer to lead the delivery of impactful MI and analytics solutions in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. This is a new and pivotal role in the MI and Analytics team. You'll drive the success of reporting and data projects, working closely with stakeholders and supporting business transformation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise and shape the future of MI solutions.

You will be an experienced professional in the reporting and project space, ready to take on a client-facing leadership role. You excel at managing stakeholder relationships, setting realistic delivery expectations, and driving the success of your team. Your ability to prioritise and communicate effectively makes you the ideal ambassador for the MI team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver MI projects to meet business objectives, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain realistic project plans, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Lead the MI Business Solutions Unit, providing direction and addressing performance gaps.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with effective communication plans.
  • Ensure seamless project closure and transition to BAU management.
  • Maintain and update MI ServiceNow and Azure DevOps (ADO) progress for stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data/reporting projects, with a focus on delivery and results.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL tools, and financial reporting.
  • Experience creating project documentation (eg, presentations, wireframes).
  • Familiarity with insurance systems and the MGA model (desirable).
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a positive outlook.
  • Understanding of data management principles.
  • CII accreditation is a plus but not essential
