Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Medical Education Associate to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry, on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is field based in either the South of England & Republic of Ireland or the North of England & Northern Ireland.

Salary:
From £20.84 per hour to £27.49 per hour PAYE depending upon experience. This role is inside IR35.

Medical Education Associate Role:
  • You will be in a customer facing position, delivering & facilitating education with a primary focus on obesity.
  • Develop & implement effective educational strategies & best practices to optimise the delivery & impact of educational programs.
  • Effectively communicate complex medical information in a clear & accessible manner. Ensure data is presented in an accurate, fair & balanced manner, so that when a product is chosen it is used appropriately, safely & efficaciously in patients.
  • Be responsible for developing & maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders within a designated Region including key Thought Leaders, key Educational Leaders/Speakers. Develop productive relationships with professional and educational associations, advocacy groups, regional and national medical professional groups.

Your Background:
  • Deep scientific and clinical knowledge of obesity pathophysiology & treatment landscape.
  • Clinical experience managing people living with obesity within NHS specialist weight management services or private weight management services is highly desirable.
  • Experience in delivering quality obesity or cardiometabolic education.
  • University degree (advanced degree in health sciences or Health Care Professional).
  • ABPI code examination. Supported by the company if not already achieved.
  • Full clean driving license.
