A strong global presence, operating and subsidising in various countries across multiple therapeutic areas, enabling this organisation to better healthcare at an international scale. They are seeking a Medical Director to join their renowned Infectious Disease team to help contribute to the research and treatments that are currently in development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership for the Iberia medical team, overseeing the operations and strategic direction.
• Lead impactful and innovative medical plans for their ongoing launch within Infectious Diseases.
• Drive the creation and execution of the annual medical strategy across therapeutic areas, ensuring alignment with global plans.
• Spearhead initiatives to generate clinical evidence for all key therapeutic areas.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with prominent external experts, professional associations, and healthcare organisations.
• Provide scientific and medical insights to support product strategies, competitive positioning, and compliance with promotional standards.
• Oversee the review and approval of materials for both promotional and non-promotional use.

Requirements:

• MD
• 7+ years' experience in Medical Affairs (Infectious Diseases preferred)
• Strong Local experience
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Strong experience with KEEs
• Extensive experience as a manager with direct reports
• Novel drug launch experience
• Excellent communication and presentational skills
