Mechanical Process Design Manager

Endeavour Recruitment has a contract opportunity for a Mechanical Process Design Manager with 8-10 years' experience to join a leading client based in Plymouth.

Onsite expectations is a couple of days a month

Sole British nationals only due to Security Clearance

SC will be required (can start on BPSS)

Essential skills and experience required:

• 8-10+ years' experience of designing a mechanical services/process system.
• Experience of working in a highly regulated industry, strong preference to nuclear.
• Understanding of hydraulic/pressure calculations.
• Understanding of hazard identification and analysis associated with process systems (eg HAZID, HAZOP etc)
• BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or similar degree.
• Line management experience of 5+ direct reports.
• Has been responsible for the programme and design output of a work package.

Highly desirable:

• Chartered Engineer
• Masters' education

Desirable:

• Understanding of IEC 61511
