Your new role
As a Mechanical Fitter (or) Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems and equipment. Your duties will include:

• Performing routine maintenance and inspections
• Construction of mechanical or electrical systems and equipment for engineering drawings
• Testing, fault-finding and diagnostics of mechanical or electrical equipment
• Installation of systems and equipment at customer locations worldwide.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborating with other team members to optimise production processes
  
  

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these roles, you will need:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Electrical Fitter
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
