Pay Rate: £24.36 per hour, Umbrella PAYEHours: 7:00 - 15:30Working Arrangements: On-site, call-outs available if desired once settled in the role
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a versatile and skilled Mechanical Engineer for a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This role is based on a massive site that operates 24/7, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical maintenance tasks, including reactive repairs.

Handle a variety of systems, not strictly limited to mechanical systems.

Be prepared to fix issues such as plumbing and toilet repairs.

Opportunity to go on call and pick up extra hours after some time.

Qualifications:

Multi-skilled Engineers:
Open to those from plumbing, pipe fitting, air conditioning, gas engineering or electrical backgrounds.

Mechanical Background:
Relevant Mechanical qualifications.

Electrical Background:
18th Edition certification.
Full apprenticeship.
Test and inspect qualifications.
Hands-on mechanical experience / skills.

Adaptability:
Must be able to handle a variety of tasks, including mechanical maintenance and reactive repairs.
