Key Responsibilities
- Machine Part Production: Produce precise machine parts and tooling with lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Machine Assembly & Installation: Assemble and install new machinery, including:
- Pneumatic and hydraulic components
- Machine pipework, cabling, wiring switches, sensors, and motors
- Maintenance Program Development: Create and implement a maintenance program that meets all legislative and company requirements.
- Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory, source suppliers, and ensure stock levels.
- External Contractor Coordination: Organize and oversee work with external contractors.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
Qualifications
- Required: Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferred: Electrical Engineering experience or certification
Experience & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role
- Skills: Problem-solving, analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, initiative, and strong organizational abilities
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
- 20 days holiday plus statutory holidays
