About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to join our team at an SEMH School in Salford. This role involves delivering high-quality maths lessons to students who require alternative provision, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging maths lessons tailored to the needs of our students.
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student development.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Extensive experience teaching maths at secondary level.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to the unique challenges of a PRU setting.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
