Marketing & Communications Senior Specialist

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will join BCG Marketing department in Istanbul office, playing a key role in reinforcing BCG's positioning and communication activity on given market.
Your role will be crucial in supporting BCG business agenda in Turkey. You will help establishing a prominent BCG brand presence and positioning, promoting BCG thought leadership among the key stakeholders, media, and executive-level discussion platforms.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive communication and marketing strategy in alignment with BCG's objectives in Turkey and in coordination with local leadership;
• Translating key priorities into actionable marketing plans and overseeing their execution through various channels including media & social media, events and executive positioning;
• Overseeing and managing all aspects of media relations, from coordinating executive interviews and handling crisis communications to developing press materials and managing content across social media platforms;
• Fostering relationships with media to ensure continuous and favorable coverage for BCG;
• Spearheading initiatives for personal branding of office leadership, ensuring their visibility and influence in relevant contents;
• Designing and overseeing the execution of local marketing events, including client engagements, events in partnership with parties, affiliation events, ensuring they align with BCG's brand and business goal and leveraging events as a platform for business development and networking;
• Supporting the expansion and refinement of the client and key contact database in collaboration with leadership, enhancing CRM practices and data utilization for business development;
• Developing and executing an internal communication plan for engaging local employees;
• Conducting in-depth market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions and marketing tactics;
• Providing regular reports on market trends, campaign performance, and other critical metrics to leadership;
• Proactively coordinating with BCG's Global and Regional marketing teams to align strategies and share best practices.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Relevant previous experience (at least 5 years) in similar role in international corporate environment, ideally professional services field or communication agencies;
• Excellent communications skills, both written and oral, in English and Turkish;
• Relevant educational path (specialization in journalism and/or marketing will be a plus);
• Excellent creative writing skills, with hands-on experience in message development, writing and editing, and crisis management;
• Proactivity, creative problem-solving skills with a diplomatic approach and with natural attitude to work with a high number of internal and external stakeholders;
• Good understanding of business and economics.
