Marina Officer

Marina Officer - Weekends for now / increased hours within the week / immediate start / Northampton Based

You will be working in a Marina that has a secluded, countryside feel whilst being within easy walking distance of Northampton town centre.

Working Hours:
Saturday 10am to 4pm
Sunday 10am to 4pm
Extra working hours in the week if asked to cover Marina Officer
Your new role:
In the absence of the Marina Site Officer, you will primarily serve customers and be responsible for the upkeep of the site by maintaining the cleanliness and reputation of the Marina.
You will be maintaining an excellent relationship with the customers and visitors.
You will be selling to both contract holders and visitors. This includes completing all relevant paperwork, receipts and tracking logs both on paper and on the computer as appropriate sales include:

• Electric
• Laundry pump out tokens
• Registrations (short term and annual)
• Navigation Keys (Anglian waterways and CRT)
• Maps
• Visitor Moorings.
• Collecting and distributing mail to clients at the reception.
• Answering phone ad taking bookings.
• General facilities : checking the condition of the office and surroundings are in good condition (empty all litter and dog bins, refill loo rolls etc )

You will spend 2/3 of your time working in the office and 1/3 working in the outdoors.
