Functie

As a Manufacturing Engineer Outfitting at Damen Naval, you maximize efficiency and effectiveness by analyzing equipment layout, workflow and assembly methods for the construction portion of site production. You determine what parts and tooling are needed to achieve production goals according to product specification. Plans, designs, sets, modifies, optimizes and monitors production processes. As a Manufacturing Engineer Outfitting, you will be responsible for:

• Providing detailed work instructions for production employees.
• Keeping track of Material Take-Off (MTO).
• Preparing production drawings.
• Providing engineering information package and tooling instructions.
• Preparing specifications for subcontracting.
• Managing raw material orders.
• Indicating quality controls according to the testing and inspection plan.
• Controlling the workflow of the structural manufacturing process.
• Working within established limits for time, budget and quality.
• Clearly communicating within the organization.
• Identifying deficiencies and suggesting improvements to management.

Functie-eisen

• A professional education (MBO 4) in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• A complete understanding of all production phases.
• Experience with production, engineering and/or design software such as SAP, 3DX, Teamcenter and Cadmatic / Inventor.
• Good command of English and Dutch language (both written and oral).

Aanbod

• 25 vacation days
• 0,19 cents per Km
• Salary: €3500 - €4500
